Nestled in the heart of the Cumberland Valley in South-Central Pennsylvania, just outside the historic town of Chambersburg, Mey-Con Farms LLC manages about 1000 acres of Pennsylvania’s best hay on some of the richest farmland in the country.
Need Hay?
At Mey-Con Farms OUR focus in on the forage needs of your animals. We routinely partner with your nutritionist and/or veterinarian to provide your horse’s ration with forages tailored to your horse’s unique needs. No one situation is exactly alike and many factors go into selecting the right hay type, cutting and quality.
We grow, harvest, store, and market the following in traditional 2-string, small square bale packaging:
Alfalfa
Timothy
Orchardgrass
Mixes:
Alfalfa/Orchardgrass
Timothy/Orchardgrass
Most are available in a 1st cutting as well as later 2nd, 3rd and 4th cuttings.
Complimentary hay samples and analysis are always available.
Need Straw?
Whether you need 10,000 round bales for that massive highway seeding project or 50 miles of pipeline right-of-way restoration, 50 bales to keep your horse warm and dry or 2 bales to keep the algae out of the pond behind your house, Mey-Con Farms has the supply to keep your projects on track and your animals bedded.
